The original datasets were AutoCAD 2000 files obtained from the City of Puyallup's Water Division and Fruitland Mutual Water Incorporated records. These files were converted into ArcView shapefiles. GPS collection was also used to ascertain the physical location of 533 hydrants, which are located in various water company districts. After GPS collection of 533 hydrants, Puyallup's existing hydrant database was used to cross reference and populate missing attribute values. </procdesc>
