Public Records Request form and GIS Digital Data Disclaimer must be completed and returned to the distributor prior to the data being released if requested on media. Once both forms are received the data can be burned to a CD/DVD and mailed or readied for pick-up at the 2nd floor front counter of City Hall.
Published City data is available on the City's website: http://www.cityofpuyallup.org/business/gis-data/ Please read the Disclaimer to and Warrant by Users of the data and the data's metadata prior to downloading the data. There is no cost to download the data.

This data was originally part of the zoning layer. It was taken out to simplify zoning data. It was later taken out of the Development Agreements dataset to simply project research. Further editing was done when Ordinance #3168 was passed essentially rezoning 5 developments from Planned Residential Development or Planned Community Development to more suitable zoning in May 2018.
March of 2020 Rachael Brown researched every planned development and created a packet of pdf documents for each permit. The PD's were then redrawn correctly, additional infomation provided, and documents attached.

The Requestor shall have no remedy by law or equity against the City Of Puyallup in case the data provided is inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise defective in any way.
5. Requester's Warranty Against Commercial Use of Lists. RCW 42.17.260(9) prohibits the release of list of individuals requested for commercial purposes, and Requester expressly represents that no such use of any such list will be made by Requester or its transferee(s) or vender(s). 'Commercial purposes' means contacting or in some way personally affecting the individuals identified on the list with the purpose of facilitating one's commercial activities.
6. Secondary Data Dissemination. Requesters may not secondarily disseminate (give City Of Puyallup data to other entities) without prior written permission from the City Of Puyallup.
7. Project Data. Requesters are encouraged to supply their project data back to the City Of Puyallup for use by the City Of Puyallup.

Development Services staff requested that all development agreements be mapped to help them better administer the city's Municipal Code and any agreements tied to properties.
January 2016 the original dataset was split into Development Agreements and Master Plans with a second dataset called Planned Developments for planned residential and planned community developments.
Further editing was done when Ordinance #3168 was passed essentially rezoning 5 developments from Planned Residential Development or Planned Community Development to more suitable zoning in May 2018.

This data was originally part of a dataset called Development Agreements. It contained Master Plans, Development Agreements, and Planned Residential Development (PDR). It was split out to stand alone as Planned Developements. Planned Community Developments (PDC) were added to complete the compliment of developements.
This data was exported from other sources and quality checked by Development Services Planners that use the data to assure correctness.
The polygon data was exported from the city's Zoning layer. Each agreement was isolated and if it involved more than one parcel the parcels involved were dissolved to create a single mulit-part polygon representing the agreement. All of the dissolved polygons and those agreements that invovled a single parcel were then merged to create a comprehensive layer of all known development agreements. This was done to aid symbolization and labeling within Zoning map pages.
The original dataset was queried for PDRs and exported. PDCs were added.
