Description: The polygons for the Hinchinbrook Plan of Management Setting Locations were developed from the descriptions of the latitudes, longitudes and vectors for the relevant Locations in Schedule 2, Subclause 1.27(3) of the Hinchinbrook Plan of Management, 2004, with the exception of boundaries and or points that are described as being at or along the coastline at mean low water. Sufficient data to determine mean low water is not available, therefore the coastal boundary lines and points follow the coastlines as defined by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority GBR Features dataset. The levels of use for the Settings were then attributed in accordance with the categories in Schedule 3, Clause 2.5 of the Hinchinbrook Plan of Management, 2004. The levels of use are divided into three categories: 1 for Intensive use settings; 2 for Moderate use settings, and; 3 for Low use settings.
