Service Description:

A dataset depicting the location of superyacht anchorages in the Whitsundays Plan of Management area in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (GBRMP), located off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The dataset was created by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) in 2018 based on descriptions in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Regulations 2019 and is intended to act as a tool to allow users to see the locations permissible to anchor superyachts in the Whitsundays area.

For further information, refer to Schedule 2 of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Regulations 2019.

Please note, sufficient data to determine mean low water is not available, therefore the coastal boundary lines follow the coastlines as defined by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority Mainland and Islands dataset.
