Description:

This feature class was created from the original pd_beats.shp.  The original was edited to accurately show a simplified workable solution of graphic representations of Puyallup Police Department Beats that are to be used in the county-wide 2015 South Sound 911 (SS911) system.  Its purpose is purely for mapping and dispatching.

One area is omitted because it is not necessary in the feature class.  The omitted area is the Puyallup Courts.  It is a building with PD services that are shared by the City of Milton.  There is a small polygon over the courts property that is labeled as City of Milton within the SS911 data but not here.  Contact the data originator for more details.
