Description: This datalayerhas been built using collected wetlands information derived from CAD drawings and plans submitted to the Town of Westwood for primarily Conservation, Engineering or Assessing purposes. Many of the drawings are not georeferenced and have to be converted to "real world" coordinates before use. This information from the plans (hard copy) and digital plans has been digitized. Additional information is being extracted from parcel lines, frontage and easements, which is added to the pertinent layers. In order to make this layer as complete as possible wetland information is also being digitized from plans submitted to Conservation. Information on state restricted wetlands and other wetland restrictions is being included in the 'easements' datalayer. Some of these lines do not agree with those shown on the wetlands74 datalayer. Accuracy is as good as each individual survey. A few wetland lines do not appear to have been professionally delineated.
