Description: This dataset is a merge of the MassGIS Level 3 layer that was created from Westwood parcpoly and then joined to the attribute table from the parcpoly layer. This took place in January 2013 and all subsequent edits are being done on this dtaset not the old parcpoly. The MassGIS projection was in SPM but the data was reprojected to SPF prior to the join and use. This is the dataset that will be used by the Town of Westwood. Please note: Several corrections to the data have been made since receipt from MassGIS, mostly due to boundary issues. One notable concern is a strip along the Dover boundary where a bow in the Westwood data does not match the legal boundary. Since it would be almost impossible to resolve this any other way a decision has been made to clip the parcels acording to the correct location. This will not change anything in the Assessors valuations as this is a mapping issue. Should any issues with these properties result in zoning or building issues they should be referred to this information.
