Tualatin, Oregon's Natural Resource Protection Overlay District is intended to identify and protect by preservation and conservation the designated significant natural resources and Other Natural Areas. The designated significant natural resources are greenways and natural areas, which include the riparian areas and scenic areas of the Tualatin River and certain creeks and drainage swales, wetlands, upland forests, meadows, fish and wildlife resources, and the geologic features of the Tonquin Scablands. The significant natural resources designated for Natural Resource Protection Overlay District status are shown on Tualatin Development Code Map 72-1.
